Is there an application fee for Wayflyer?

What fees do you charge when I get funding from Wayflyer?
Each Wayflyer advance has a simple one-off fixed fee (typically from 4-12%). This fee helps recover the costs associated with funding the advance and processing your application. There are no origination fees, annual fees, monthly maintenance fees, documentation fees, or hidden fees.
How is the fixed fee calculated?
We base the fixed fee on a number of factors, including financial health, historic marketing performance and prior trading performance with Wayflyer.
What is the repayment rate?
The repayment rate is the percentage of daily sales that Wayflyer takes to pay off the principal and fee associated with an advance. The actual amount that is taken will vary along with your sales. If sales increase, the actual amount paid will increase. If sales decrease, the amount will decrease. The percentage taken will always remain the same.
How long does it take to repay the fee and the principal?
This will depend on the repayment rate, the size of the advance taken and your daily sales. If you choose a higher repayment rate, you will repay the full amount more quickly than if you had a lower repayment rate. Additionally, if your daily sales increase, you will be fully repaid more quickly.
For example, if Wayflyer gives you an advance of $50,000 with a fixed fee of 6% and if the repayment rate is 4% of daily sales, Wayflyer would receive 4% of your daily sales until the $53,000 has been paid back. If your average daily revenue is $10,000, Wayflyer would receive $400 a day until $53,000 has been paid back. The payback period would be 4.5 months (133 days).
Will my fixed fee percentage reduce over time?
Typically, yes. Customers that access repeated advances from Wayflyer and build up a trading history will see reduced fees over time.
How do I apply?
Once you connect your data sources to Wayflyer for free, Wayflyer will run some tests to see if your performance meets the requirements to qualify for an advance from Wayflyer. If you meet the requirements, we will be in touch with a number of offers. If you do not meet the requirements, we will let you know what must be improved in order to qualify. Once your performance meets the requirements to qualify for a cash advance, we will notify you.
Who is eligible for funding through Wayflyer?
To qualify, you must fit into the below criteria:
- At least 6 months operating history
- At least $250,000 in annual online revenue in the past year
- Headquartered in USA, UK, Ireland, Australia or New Zealand
- Can easily spend $5,000 - $500,000 per month in online marketing

Who funds my cash advance?
Wayflyer funds the advance. We are backed by a number of large credit institutions.
How long does it take to be approved for an advance?
Applicants will typically receive term sheets outlining their offers in less than hour (it may take longer outside of business hours).
How quickly can I get my funds?
Once a cash advance is requested and the advance agreement is signed, funds are sent to the account of your choice. Advances deposited into your business checking account take 0-3 days to process, depending upon your bank.
Can I reapply if my application fails?
Your Wayflyer account allows us to continuously evaluate your latest business information, so there is no need to reapply. We will continue to review your information and will let you know if you qualify for funds in the future. How do you determine how much funding I can use?
Using our proprietary data analytics engine, Wayflyer reviews your business information through data sources like your marketing channels, Google Analytics account, business checking account, payment processors, accounting platforms and other online marketplaces. This helps us determine the financial performance of your business by analyzing your average monthly revenue, profitability, time in business, transaction volume, among other characteristics.
Do I need to apply again as a previous customer?
If you have previously been successful as an applicant and Wayflyer still has access to your business and marketing information, there is no need to reapply. Simply contact your Wayflyer account manager.
In which countries is Wayflyer available?
Wayflyer is currently available in all 50 U.S.States, the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. We will add new geographies in the future, so check back soon.
What is my primary payment account?
Your primary account is the account where funds are sent to and where payments are withdrawn from. You may have multiple bank accounts on file but you can only have one primary payment account.
How do I change my primary account?
For your security, the first bank account you choose on Wayflyer is set as your primary payment account. This is where funds are deposited and where automatic payments are withdrawn. If you would like to change the account where funds are deposited, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org before you withdraw funds.
How do repayments work?
Each day, Wayflyer’s analytics platform calculates the percentage of daily sales and automatically withdraws this amount as a direct debit. This process repeats until the advance amount + the fixed fee is repaid in full. You can make manual payments toward your balance at any time. There is no charge for early repayment.
What is DDPay?
DDPay is the process we use to automatically withdraw your daily repayment. You agree to allow us to automatically withdraw your payment from your primary account each month when you accept your advance agreement.
Where can I spend the cash advance?
The purpose of the cash advance is purchase inventory from your suppliers or to fund your online marketing activity on Google Ads, Facebook, Bing Ads or Twitter.

What is Wayflyer’s data analytics platform?
Wayflyer uses a proprietary data analytics platform to assess your marketing performance over time and determine whether you qualify for a cash advance. Once an offer has been accepted, Wayflyer will provide every customer with access to the data analytics platform so that they can monitor and improve performance. The data analytics platform combines data from marketing platforms (Google Ads, Facebook), payment platforms (Shopify, Stripe) and Google Analytics to assess key metrics such as return on ad spend, cost per acquisition and number of new customers acquired.
Why does Wayflyer need access to my online marketing platforms?
Reviewing the services you use and the corresponding data gives us a full picture of your business in real time without requiring you to submit paperwork. Link your business services once, and your account will remain connected to Wayflyer. This helps us understand your business not just at the time of qualification, but also on an ongoing basis so you don't have to reapply or re-enter your information.When you add additional data sources in the future, we'll use this data at the time it's added and every point thereafter.
Will Wayflyer share my data with any 3rd parties?
Wayflyer accesses all services that you use under an NDA, which is signed at the point of application. Wayflyer will not share any data with third parties.
Is my data safe at Wayflyer?
- Wayflyer is built on industry standard cloud infrastructure using Amazon Web Services. This infrastructure has the highest security standards and certifications.
- Wayflyer ensures data is encrypted at rest and in transit.
- Wayflyer restricts access to customer data to only those employees who need it to do their job.
- Wayflyer runs on a zero trust corporate network i.e. we need a VPN to access the data.
Does Wayflyer handle my customers’ PII?
Wayflyer does not use or store your customers’ PII information as part of our performance review or in our data analytics engine.
Is Wayflyer GDPR compliant?
Yes. Wayflyer is a fully GDPR compliant data processor. We minimize the amount of personal information used to just what's required for our performance review and for the data analytics engine. We never transfer information related to payment instrument or health data. Where possible, we pull all data from source each day, so deletion or change requests processed by your data protection team will be reflected on our live systems within 24 hours.
For data sources where a full daily transfer is not possible, we'll provide you with a mechanism to inform us of deletions and changes. You'll receive confirmation after each change/deletion is processed.
